VPA DAY

Visual Performing Arts Day or “VPA Day” is a showcase performance of the incredible talent of our young high school students in San Diego in an attempt to raise arts awareness in the community and show how important continued funding for these programs are. 

With a nonexistent budget, our challenge was to produce a state of the art, professional caliber show that had a less than 24 hour turnaround time for load in and out in a school gymnasium as no performance space existed on the school campus. With the generosity of local vendors and arts supporters, staging, lighting, power, audio and every single aspect of this production were brought in to assure it was done the right way. This incredible show was produced for next to nothing due to donations and an outstanding support team.
